MANDY THE ALPHA DOG covers fears, mistreatment, overeating, obesity, biting, forgiveness, redemption, and winning as Mandy recounts her story to Shadow, the youngest and only traditional non-rescue dog in Mandy's pack. The story is told in a humorous manner as Mandy is the 'straight man' to Shadow's comic.
